They were responsive to email correspondences and took time to proactively give updates on the shipping status of my purchase. The carrier they chose did a good job delivering on time and without damage. I'm impressed with the service!

Dealer is hard to deal with and did unauthorized service work. My tractor was picked up for what should have been warranty work. I requested some service work be done since tractor was at the dealer. After tractor was there almost a week I called to check on status. I was told parts were ordered and there would be no warranty help. I requested cost of repair but was told bill was not figured. Next day tractor was delivered and I received a extremely high bill with some services that I had not requested and a $120.00 freight charge. I contacted the dealer to try and negotiate a fair settlement but dealer only adjusted the freight bill down to $33.00 and felt they had done nothing wrong. I should have received a call to approve any additional work done and there was some fault on their part too. Disputed part of bill ended up being around $200.00 which dealer said that was nothing and yet was not willing to split the difference. I also had an issue with my bucket loader pin falling out which damaged hood and grill, a hydraulic leak that required fixing, and hydraulic oil was over filled. I have located a different dealer should I need future service work.

When looking for a pair of pendulum spreaders I came across Iowa Farm Equipment. My contact at IFE was a gentleman named Steve. Steve was very polite, knowledgeable and patient. He suggested I look at another brand he carried that was newer to the market and would save me considerable money. I was unfamiliar with this new brand and considering it was a $5K purchase I had MANY questions for him over the course of the next week. During that time, he promptly and thoroughly responded to all my questions. I ended up purchasing the units and the transaction and shipping went very smoothly. I used the units and was pleased with their performance other than a couple minor issues (to which Steve immediately resolved). Then after about 9-10 months I had an agitator shaft go out on one of the spreaders. I emailed Steve expecting it to be out of warranty, etc. Within hours he responded by emailing a parts manual and telling me to identify the parts I needed and he would replace them. So, I identified agitator shaft and a couple bearings. The next day and to my astonishment Steve told me they were going to replace the entire spreading unit in order to make things (the repair process) easier! I must say I was pleased with the smooth sale transaction, but the customer service I have received after the sale has been phenomenal! For this reason I will not hesitate to do future business with Steve and IFE.
