The drinking glasses were utterly nasty. Thick film of some thing, Menu is full of overpriced food. Not worth it. Pool tables were ok, well maintained, but que selection is minimal, and most of them are cracked at the tip, or warped.

All the bars in my town that had pool tables have closed down so it was great going here. We had so much fun.

Rev. V - June 2021 Original Review: 5 Stars, descending since. The 2nd Avenue Corner Pocket pool hall could only be described in one way: Amazing tables, interesting staff. Here's a breakdown of what I saw. • Pool tables: 10 beautiful Diamond tables, including a special 10-foot BIGFOOT table to have an extra challenge! Tables seem to be re-felted often, as they looked brand new. (As of June, tables have stains and show signs of needing refelting). • Cue balls, billiards balls: Original: Very nice Cyclops table balls. They look to be cleaned often and the shine really shows. Delivered to us in a tight carrying case with FIVE cue balls to choose from. Now: Three cue balls delivered in a nice bag, but upon opening, balls are from mismatched sets of who-knows-what brands (some still Cyclops). The pouch has tears and hasn't been well taken care of. • Drinks and Serving: Although I don't drink alcohol, the Pepsi with Grenadine that I usually order was really good. The mix was perfect. • Price: Drinks were fairly priced and so was apparel and merchandise. Table time was about what we expect from a regular pool hall. • Food: Didn't have any of our own, but the table next to us had something delicious! The food seems to be well worth the price for sure. Nowadays, I don't see food anywhere within the establishment. No menus, or food. • Bartenders: The guy I originally saw was amazing and talked with us to great lengths (I don't think he works there anymore, but I am aren't sure). The second bartender was a female and was taking swigs from pitchers on the clock. The third time through, the woman working was friendly and personable. The forth and fifth times, the bartender barely interacted with anyone. • Crowd: Loud, but definitely enjoying their time, drinks, and games. Some very good players and some just for fun. Some are rowdy and rude to staff, which is typical of a bar. • Hours: Suddenly in February 2021, the hours changed on weekends, with no knowledge anywhere. Facebook, doors, and even here on Google still said 2:00. Upon asking, the bartender told me that "the crowd coming in was bad, and she didn't want there to be a ruckus coming from bars. It's all by ear". Unfortunately, by ear doesn't work for businesses well, especially when they were still extremely busy when they planned to close. Plus, after bars close would seem to be a good business love, keeping a crowd going and driving profits, no? Would I visit this place again? Maybe. Would I recommend this place to a friend? No. 2nd Avenue Corner Pocket: While I like the 10 foot table, it doesn't make up for the bartenders who don't put the right work in and the inconsistent hours. This place could, however, earn at least the third star back in a matter of weeks if they put the work in. Cutting it short: This place is more a bar then it is a pool hall.
