Good situation for a Venice beach lover. But this hotel is not a hotel is a appartement where you can stay. No housekeeping during your stay, even if you put your towels in the corridor to change it. Cherry on the cake all the night you will have many noise of drunk and ganja lovers who scream, and laugh all the night just in front of you window

My second time in LA and definitely was one of my best trip due to the location of this hotel. People very welcoming and helpful. This rooftop is one of their strongest point. No AC at the time, but still really good place to stay.

I stayed in room 307 on the third floor and at the back of the hotel on the side that faces the public parking garage next door. Hotel is in a very busy area. This is not a hotel for a peace and quiet type of vacation. Loud music all day and into the night. Very clean and staff was very nice and personable. Lots of choices for food within close walking distance. Bed had a firm mattress but it was comfortable to me. If you've ever been to IKEA, the room looks exactly like a setup in an Ikea showroom. Very cute and eclectic. It was convenient to be right on the boardwalk. Easy access to the beach, restaurants, bike rentals, etc. The shower was awesome! Good water pressure with two shower heads, one of which was a rainfall shower head. The kitchenette had pots and pans plus a whole four person set of dishes and silverware. Not much provided in the way of cooking utensils except a big cooking spoon and a slotted spoon. This is California so be prepared to smell marijuana as you explore the beach and boardwalk. If you are sensitive to it, you should choose another place to visit. All in all, it was a good experience. I give it four out of five stars due to the noise, but that's not really the fault of the hotel so much as it is inherent to the location itself.

Loved our stay here! For the price, my husband and I were nervous about what we were walking into. A kitchen, right in the beach - considering we've paid much more for much less, it felt too good to be true. Well it was true! The hotel staff was the best part of our stay. They were super nice & accommodating - allowing us to store our luggage when we ended up arriving early and calling us as soon as our room was ready. The room was spectacular. Immaculate, and it had everything we needed to spend a while there! Dishes, a sink, a little stove. Fridge and microwave. We'd have been comfortable staying for weeks. Sadly we only had a day, but we hope to return. The rooftop had a nice view of the beach and a grill that we could use, and the hotel offered boards and stuff that people could use. They really do their best to make it comfortable. The location was perfect, right on the walk, right on the beach, and next door to Starbucks!
