We met Brad Gill ten years ago when we were looking to buy our first home. When it was time to sell, he was the first person we called. His team was amazing - scheduling everything, communicating with us every step of the way, answering all questions and addressing any concerns. His contractors were amazing and finished the project on time and substantially below the projected cost. The stagers made our home unrecognizable (a good thing, believe me), and once the property was listed we had immediate interest and an offer in FIVE days. 36 days later we were closing. I don’t think the process could have been any less complicated. We were truly blessed to have Brad and his team at the wheel.

Simply put, no. Although moving out while your home is on the market will undoubtedly make your life and the selling process a smoother experience, especially if you have children or pets. A homeowner considering to sell may wish to take on repairs & cosmetic updates to enhance the appeal of their home. We’ll provide you a clear plan & timeline for any pre-listing preparations & marketing execution. Once your home is ready to be listed on the market, your Realtor should be providing you with their opinion on how long it may take to attract the right offer for your home. By completing a thorough market analysis, & ensuring your home is price positioned correctly, they should be able to forecast the time it may take to generate an acceptable offer.

What is the best time of the year to sell my home?

NextHome Lifestyles | Aug 28, 2021
NextHome Lifestyles | Aug 28, 2021

Timing the sale of a home is more appropriately affected by a homeowner’s goals rather than trying to time the market for its peak buying season. The best time to sell is when you are ready. However, assuming a homeowner had the luxury of waiting for the optimal time to sell their home, they would need to monitor market activity (preferably with help of a knowledgeable Realtor) & position their home on the market when inventory, or competition to sell, was lower than demand to purchase.

If you’ve been thinking about selling but are not completely sure, then one of the best starting points is to define your goals by asking yourself these 5 questions: Why are you selling? What is your “target date” to get your home sold? What is your plan B if you are unable to sell your home? What is your “absolute must” date where you will move to plan B? What are you willing to invest into the process to help position your home to sell for the most money?
