I was dealing with a really serious situation and needed immediate assistance. I called the North Hollywood Post Office first thing on a Saturday morning and spoke with the supervisor, April. She and my local mail carrier, Johnny, went above and beyond, totally out of their way to help me out. I have never received such stellar service from a post office.

I was able to pop in and out, to drop off a tracked package to get the receipt. The line was short and everything was quick. I went in at 1:15pm today. They have the broken glass boarded up now, two postal clerks were working the desk with protection for them and distancing in place for everyone in line. You can't go to the PO during lunch hours and expect it to be quick. That's common sense. Same deal for the DMV.. you walk up w/o an appt, after it opens and you're in for a wait (and a half!). POs are notorious for being slow - try a mid morning or right after lunch. Good luck!

To management: PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ YOUR REVIEWS. When I arrived, I was turned away by the rude woman it seems others have also had negative experiences with. Good to know there is great job security working for USPS! You can treat people with the worst customer service, make them feel unwelcome and a burden, and still keep your job. She does not enjoy working there and it shows, so she takes it out on the customers. To management: PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ YOUR REVIEWS.

Laziest postal workers. My carrier is great but most substitutes are worthless. Have to chase them down to take a package and then they never scan. Complaining does no good so apparently even the supervisors don't care. Take to another PO if you have a package. No service here or even a box big enough to drop off packages. Useless for the most part.
