This is one of those places I want to keep for myself, but it wouldn't be fair to the rest of you looking for a simple place in the heart of the Driftless that is clean, affordable, and has an insanely comfortable bed after a long drive or endless hours fly-fishing. Chris is the new owner of this roadside motel and you can tell he has put his heart and soul into this remodel. I am looking forward to seeing the progress made on my next visit. This is my favorite place to stay as I have so many memories here. The motel is clean. And the owners/management are very friendly and accommodating. Most people that stay here are friendly and are outdoorsmen. Can't wait to someday see the restaurant bar reopen. Until then we still plan on making this our spot to to say for years to come!
