We were seated right away upon arrival but waited more than 25 minutes before anyone approached us w/menus. We suspect this may have been because we were masked up & Wisconsin doesn't believe in the pandemic. After waiting for a waitress for 20 minutes I went to the bar to order drinks. Bartender initially ignored me and continued his conversation with another patron. Another bartender finally asked me what I wanted to drink. I had to ask for a lime for my gin and tonic & got the stink eye from her. The best part of the meal was the white fish appetizer which is recommended. The relish tray was nice but the rest of the meal was mediocre. Definitely a place for the (mostly elderly) locals. We won't be back.

Excellent steaks any night of the week! Their all you can eat fish fry is the best around. It's our "go to" for fish fry, and when we say "let's try someplace different", we're usually disappointed. You get enough fish (baked and fried) the first time, that you usually don't need to ask your waitress for anymore, but they will gladly get it if you do! If it's not so busy (not typical) I will pay extra for a baked potato rather than french fries. We've been coming here for many many years (30+) and have never been disappointed, ever. On occasion, one of us will get their chicken cordon bleu, and it has to be the best I've ever had. We highly recommend the Blue Heron to anyone traveling into southeastern Wisconsin, and of course, you have to try their homemade Old Fashions!

This was my first time dining here and I will definitely be back. I got the scallops and my friend got the surf and turf. Everything was delicious and I thought very reasonably priced. The scallops were some of the best I've had in a while - cooked perfectly, just the right amount of seasoning, and absolutely delicious. The soup was very good too. I tried a bite of both the steak and lobster and both were very good as well. The service was great too I would definitely recommend this place!

Food was excellent. Staff was so friendly and bend over backwards to make your dinning a great experience. Old fashioneds were fabulous and if you have room for desert well it's just a must have.

I don't believe they offer a gluten free menu. I would recommend calling before going.
They do not have a gluten free menu, but the chef will absolutely accommodate your needs.
I am not sure if they take reservations on fish fry Friday. But it is a very good idea to call just in case as it does get very busy Fridays.
