Down home vibe with friendly, fast service. Decor is not the reason to stop here. Shower curtain bathroom stall 'door' in ladies room with 1970's carpet on the upper walls definitely needs an update. The chicken fried steaks were cooked to perfection and very tasty. The hash browns are amazing. Fried seafood items cod or shrimp were hot, crisp, and flavorful. French fries were also very good. Great location to stop at on your way North. Pricing is appropriate.

We needed a quick meal on our road trip. The locals seemed to like the restaurant as it was packed when we got there. The steak was very affordable and cooked perfectly, medium rare. The chef's salad was huge! Highly recommended.
