New China Buffet

I usually love Asian buffets. This location sucked today. I have a couple go-to things … general tso, crab Rangoon and the sugar donuts. They all tasted old and hard. Really didn’t expect that because the place was packed and there should have been good new turnover. Trying other things were all a disappointment. The sushi was fresh, but other than that, the water is the only thing I had seconds on. We went to Leon’s for ice cream because I didn’t want to be let down by that as well.

Reminded me of days gone by, here howeverandoverseas, presentation could have been better. Went in, you could see people enjoying themselves. I had to stand at checkin for a long time while the gentleman behind there was checking something on his phone with another employee. It was truly an abnormal amount of time! Should have left but a friend suggested we go there. It was apparent that they treat everyone this way. There was no "sorry for the wait" just a point to the price on the screen $37. 34 and a point to where your card would go. Looked for place to sit. There was someone constantly going around keeping everything neat and clean 👌. There were families and singles moving about getting their food choices. There was another staff person who stood by kitchen area whose job was to take food as prepared to refill areas in need, they were very busy! It was a machine in operation likeIhavenotseenbefore. The place has another side to it where people were eating, so there was a constant flow of traffic to the buffet. There were no odd smells and I have to say the food was tasty 😋. I had swai fish, shrimp fried rice, green beans, fried chicken, broccoli and chicken, my wife had green beans, broccoli and chicken, orange chicken and we both had crab Rangoon. She went back for seconds. There was just so much to choose from!!! From pizza to dessert American to Asian. A constant turnover of food and people! Had trouble getting a cone of ice cream at the end, asked for more and the reaction to fix the problem. I might add one healthy construction worker left with a large Styrofoam "glass " of vanilla. The staff was friendly with the exception of our getting in. They've been doing this for a long time and that was very obvious. If I ever want to "bust my gut," this is the place I will go

This is the best buffet in town. I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a child and its never disappointed me. Not only is the quality of food superb, but they really have an emphasis placed on seafood such as clams, shrimps, mussels and fish which is a rarity at buffets.

This China Buffet served GREAT FOOD much better than many Chinese Restaurant in town , much better Wong's Wok next door and low price too. Madison had many good buffet restaurant nice place too but this New China buffet had better food. This place is not very clean kind of old building and old carpet. But the food are clean and good temperature. Seafood section are the best. Good choice of many kind of noodles. Good choice for fried chicken. Also have Japanese food that I am not care for. I like cook to order next to sushi. The guy made great tasty soup and I just add more shrimp and chicken from buffet table. You have to know what you want and don't afraid to try different food mixed them up you'll be surprise. Dim sum are not the best here because sit too long and getting hard. Soup is very good. Lunch buffet only $8.95 .. completed with Drinks & Desserts ... Oh ..cappuccino too. ... You can't find better Chinese Food at better price anywhere. I came here every week with friends.
