I've been here several times over the last ten years. I can honestly say I believe this is the best restaurant in WI. Prices are right on, staff are awesome, but the food is out of this world. Flavors and sauces to thrill you and fill you. To top this all off, it's a local farm to table place. It is the best of all things. Glad they survived the pandemic shutdown and hope they stay here for many more years!!

Heard nothing but great things about this place and we love tapas so we finally gave it a try. Not exactly what we were expecting but overall great experience and can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. The Argentina steak melted in my mouth like butter. The gnocchi was delightfully creamy and I could have probably at 3 dishes of that.

La Merenda is a fantastic joint with delicious drinks, dessert and staff. HIGHLY recommend the Creme Brulee. Chris the bartender graciously accommodated my group at the bar when we rapidly went from 4 to 7 people. Quick, courteous staff all around.

La Merenda is phenomenal. Everything we had was amazing and the portion sizes were appropriate for what our wonderful server recommended. There was 2 of us and we had 4 plates and a dessert. I highly recommend! One of our new favorites.

They have a full bar. It is in the first section of the building when you walk in from National. You can sit at the bar and just have drinks, and you can order off their full menu there also. On nights when it is very crowded, the bar may be crowded also, but you will probably get a spot at the bar before a regular table without a reservation on those nights. They do have a great selection of wine, beers, and spirits, along with some very tasty cocktails. I have gone there before just for a cocktail. I have also gone for food and decided to sit at the bar even though there were open tables. As far as my experiences, they are happy to serve people at the bar who just come in for a drink or two (or three). On a related note, Monday night's they have half price bottles of wine.
Yes, absolutely. My husband and i have done that many times.
Face covering when arriving, and when moving inside from place to place. Off when at your table
Go to the restaurant??
No, we're not. Sorry! Come by tomorrow!
