Enjoyed the dishes we ordered: pot sticker, onion pancake, Szechuan noodles, mapo taufu with pork, braised mushrooms with choy sum and chilies taufu. Place was clean and hot food (temperature) came fairly quickly.

Came here for the fei teng fish, which I've had a hard time finding since moving to Milwaukee from Chicago. It was amazing! Very spicy but still balanced in flavor, delicious peppercorns with the classic tingly feeling, and the fish was fresh and buttery (hard to come by in fish soup of any variety). The dishes come in large servings, so plan on coming with a group or taking leftovers if you're a light eater like I am. Great service as well, can't wait to come back for the hot pot.

First time trying the Hot Pot at Sze Chuan! All you can eat for $24/per person. We like the spicy 🌶 broth, we got the 1/2 to try both flavors. Go on a weeknight and it is less crowded. You can choose from a full list of meats, sea food, veggies and noodles. We enjoyed the hot spicy broth with hot spicy beef and pork belly and all the veggies and noodles! If only my tummy can hold more food, be sure to be hungry when you order this, it is definitely a giants meal!!

After reading all the glorious reviews (and multiple people mentioned it’s authentic) — it looked promising, so I decided to meet up with one of my colleagues for lunch and since we both love Chinese food (I should also mention that I’m ethnically Chinese). If you are expecting authentic Chinese food, this is NOT it and I don’t think you’ll be able to find anything authentic in this area to be honest. Your best bet will be Chicago Chinatown. Also, reviews mentioning that this is real Chinese food, you’ll notice most of the reviewers are white. I had pretty high expectation, (I thought it’d be more traditional/authentic), turned out it was just another American Chinese restaurant. That being said, it was still decent 🥡 with generous portion. If you come here for American Chinese food, you’ll probably enjoy it.

I always go pick it up
Yes all you can eat for $24? Like regular hot pot, choose your soup and she was all of the ingredients for your hot pot from a paper menu
