Great place to walk your dog. A trail around the water with plenty of shade. Beer available. A place to swim with a little beach. Dog jump area. A place to wash up & cool down with restrooms. Picnic areas with grilling areas. Kayaks on the water. There was a food truck there. Really nice park!!

Great environment during the summertime. Beer garden and food trucks during the summer as well!

After reading all the reviews I suggest speaking with your money! Go to state parks and blast Waukesha officials to change "rules". I get that we are next to Milw. County and there are bad actors across the board. I'm going to suggest parking fees be increased on weekends and a capacity limit be inforced. That might help park personnel to keep peace in the park. Mowing should be during the week!!!

Nice park with small lake for fishing, kayaking, and swimming. They have a fenced in dog swimming area but it is a very small area. Walking path goes around the lake about .9 of a mile.

Yep. There's also a designated area for the dogs to swim in.
Yes, rentals run Noon-6pm weather dependent. They are operated by High Roller Fun Rentals, no longer Park staff.
No, the beach is closed. You wouldn't want to anyways bcuz the swimming area is covered with algae they haven't cleaned out yet.
Yes you can bring your own charcoal or gas grill, or you can use one of the few charcoal grills scattered out around the beach area, just bring your own charcoal. If you bring your own grill there are hot coal bins for you to dispose of your coals once done.
morning, and after 4pm during the week, although if you're just walking your dog there's plenty off room for dog owners to walk their dogs, if you are taking your dog to the swimming area the best time to stop by is during the day sometimes between 9 a.m. and 3pm.
Check with the lifeguard on duty, they are particular about your bring
While Fox Brook doesn't allow you to swim with your pup you could visit one if the SAYOR beaches and swim with your pup. The closest would be Minooka Park.
Lifeguards are on duty from 11:00am til 7:00pm 7 days a week, weather dependent. Swimming is only permitted while lifeguards are on duty at Fox Brook.
June 2nd. The first Saturday in June is the typical opening day every year.
