I am a doctor who ordered hundreds of tests at Centrelake. I cannot get some of the results, and they don't answer calls. We may have to work with some other radiology.

My mother came her to do a biopsy here and the staff their were nice and friendly. They was free cold water bottles for people to get a drink. They admitted my mother quickly and the LVN(Mayra) was professional and made us feeling very welcoming for our first experience there. Definitely will recommend! Great Job!

Do not have any type of surgery at this facility, Centerlake Imaging in Downey. I was unsure from the beginning to the end about my visit there, which was for a replacement permacath, so that I could have dialysis treatment right away. I filled out 30 minutes worth of paperwork when I arrived and then they didn't even use that paperwork, but rather old paperwork that they received from my dialysis center, which had incorrect information, so I had to answer several questions over again!! Wasted Time!! Most importantly, the nurses did not wear gloves most of the time while working in their offices and Surgery prep/recovery rooms, during this pandemic. Now, during my surgical procedure, the doctor gave me a shot of lidocaine, didn't wait for it to take effect and started to pull my old catheter out and I felt everything, extremely painful. I told him to stop, he gave me another shot of lidocaine and immediately started working again and I still felt the pain of the procedure. He then offered a sedative as if I needed one, and I did say yes, because of the pain. He was in a terrible rush, I'm guessing because they over schedule patients' procedures at this facility. And then, the lidocaine finally took effect after the procedure was finished. Then, I'm in the recovery room, and I was released to get dressed and go home. I took my gown off and realized that my new catheter were hanging out in the open with no bandages on them and the doctor did not suture the catheter be in place, so it moves around and causes more pain. This catheter leads to my heart and very easily can be infected. I asked them to bandage it up and one of the staff comes over to me with NO GLOVES to put a stretchy thing on it. I told her not to touch me, she had no gloves on. I asked for gauze and tape and wrapped my catheter myself. This is a facility that handles these type of procedures all day long 5 days a week, and they don't seem to know what they're doing. I also realized after I got home, that they did not give me copies of any of my paperwork with my signatures from the procedure. And now, I'm going to receive a bill for this terrible experience, andd my brand new catheter doesn't work!!! I will be letting Blue Cross Blue Shield know that they should not give patients approval to go to this facility and we both should not be responsible for paying their bill. Today, 9/30/2020, less than 1week after my my catheter replacement at Centerlake, I now have to go to the ER, because it's not working at all, and it's critical that I have my dialysis treatments. This.is absolutely ridiculous. You have been warned, do not go to this facility for any surgical procedures.

All of the staff were very accommodating and friendly, making the MRI experience the best possible. The MRI. Technician (Sam) was excellent, in fact I did not even feel the injection for the contrast and he did not even leave a mark . Less can be said about some of the phrenologist that draw blood
