Pulled off here on a road trip because we saw the reviews online. Can honestly say the place lives up to it rating. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly (and funny). What a gem.

Had an absolutely amazing breakfast at this tiny cafe. We took seats at the bar and chatted all morning with the very friendly chef/owner. Coffee was strong and fantastic. The "Stovey" breakfast wrap is like a breakfast burrito, except just a bit lighter because they wrap it in a Norwegian crepe instead of a tortilla. Hash browns on the side we're fantastically well-cooked. Huge recommendation for the Salmon Caesar Salad. Omg it was so good. They smoke their own salmon (to perfection!) and the rest of the salad is beautifully arranged. Don't forget the earth-shatteringly good garlic toast on the side. Wowowow! We polished our meal off with a slice of Oreo Cream pie. It's like cheesecake mixed with Oreo, but just a little softer. I've never had anything like it and will dream about it for the rest of my life!

Been going to the S&J Cafe for quite a while and think it about time to give a little back...this place is a breakfast gem. Best breakfast in town, local diner feel, and great Owners and Staff. Always treated as the most important person in the restaurant (everyone is). I typically have my same OE, SP, HB w. Onion / Swiss and sour dough toast but ventured out this week. I do have to say this was the best CBH I have ever had! Great work Scott and team, you guys are awesome!

This place! I can't say enough good about it... small town, family owned, they have a bakery chef for their pies... the waitress is the daughter... what a place! Going to come back whenever I can... Oconomowoc is a beautiful city...p.s. whoever bought me breakfast.. thank you...
