A fantastic place to fish for numerous species in one location. It's good to downsize your equipment as it's a bit of a journey from parking to the 'ferry' boat. Many great memories fishing there in my teen years. My parents were friends with the owner back then and he would allow us to spend the nights letting us sleep in his enclosed boat. Kinda creepy out there all alone away from everything but unbelievable fishing!

This was the worst place to fish, old lady at the bait shop didn't know left from right, I tried to contact Clements for 3 weeks by phone which nobody answered the phone, you just got the same recording every time. So I thought I would e-mail them with questions I had about the barge that I have never been on and never received a reply. Drove 4 hours across the state to find out that the bait shop doesn't open until 7am, after buying 35.00 dollars worth of bait was given wrong directions to the barge. after finding the barge by 7:30 the parking lot was over flowing with cars and would have to wait who knows how long before you could get on it. I tried to avoid all of this by showing up a day early just to make sure my kids and I would get on the barge and not be a waisted trip, Thank You Clements for ruining our trip I will never give you any of my hard earned money again!!! Dumped all of my bait out in my front yard, PS you run a horrible business!!!!!

Very friendly willing to help you out. everyone fishing was friendly and shared tips to catch fish. it really was a breath of fresh air to go there. And the fishing was great even my 9 year old son caught lots of fish including sturgeon
