Very nice winery. Our family enjoyed our visit. There was one rude cashier. She scolded our 14 year old for walking upstairs, even though the sign said it was open to the public. We purchased 2 wine tastings and four bottles of wine. Very pretty flowers and nice grounds to walk and visit.

We saw on FB that it was NATIONAL WINE DAY (yesterday 5/25). We had been planning an afternoon at Wollersheim "one of these days" since retirement in March. It was a rainy and quite frankly a chilly afternoon, so we said 'why not today' in honor of national wine day? We did a self tour, drinking a light flight of 4 delicious wines. We were the only people seated in the rustic 2nd floor bistro from 4:00 until they closed at 5pm. The atmosphere was cozy and we had a delightful outing. On our way out we purchased 2 bottles of wine in the store. Everyone was helpful and kind; prices reasonable. We plan to come back over the summer months and sit outside with friends. I had not been to Wollersheim in over 40 years. Thanks for the memories!

Nestled in the hills outside of Prairie du Sac, Wi is the most beautiful vineyard and distillery combination I've ever seen. The Bistro has awesome quick bites will tons of seating and quiet areas all around the property. The vineyard is well tended and property is georgious. The wine tasting is by a flight of 5 selections with a staff member to guide and help you understand the differences of the selections. Our guide, Sarah, was super friendly, an absolute blast, and very knowledgeable in the product lines. Sarah's guidance was worth the trip alone... And worthy of a good tip! The distillery was a separate building and had it's own tasting journey right in the production stilling area surrounded by copper pot and column stills. They have a very large spirit lineup with many brandy's, gin and whiskey. The Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon Whiskey was absolutely amazing! The nose had the malted barley note with a grassy hayfield. The taste was a thick creamy buttered caramel finishing with a slight cherry note and a warm Kentucky hug! Easily the best bourbon I've had in years. Overall the trip was great fun in a beautiful countryside in rural Wisconsin with some surprising beautiful scenery, great wines, delicious spirits and some very tasty bites at the Bistro.

This place is amazing! The food at the Bistro and the wine are not that expensive either! The parking spot is a little walk to the Bistro and Winery so you would need flats to walk on, specially if you are used to wearing high heels like me. When you order your food at the Bistro, they let you choose where to sit; we chose to sit outside by the "hobbit" house looking cave where they used to store wine back in the old days. If you decide to come here, your experience will be worth it!

Highway 12 to highway 188 if coming from the south east
They do! But it is very popular and runs out quickly. I would recommend the Eagle White as an alternative!
I asked them and they said yes they will be!!
