North entrance is easily accessible. You have to walk through water to get to the island. Water goes up to your hips on a good day. South entrance is a bit of a hike, not to mention the climb back up! But much easier to cross the shallow water. TOTALLY WORTH IT!

What a great place. There are 2 parking area. Google took me to the south one. It's small, the north parking is much bigger and was only 20% full while the south was tiny and full. $5 daily fee for the county parks Both sides are great, northnside offers more isolation.

I absolutely have enjoyed coming to this park for over 20 years. It's great to see the natural beauty that's there. It's very peaceful to go listen to the falls and nice to hear groups of people having fun along the beaches in the summer. Unfortunately if you have a disability which prevents you from walking on uneven terrain or rugged terrain this park is not going to be very accessible by the falls area. The other issue with the park is that Park goers need to take their trash OUT with them when they leave. There are trash bins provided at the entrance of the park but once you get to the falls you need to be responsible for your own trash and take it out. Park-goers should also be aware that it is a Falls area and the water has a strong current so any swimming in the park needs to be done carefully. Highly suggest going swiming with a buddy and being aware of drop offs in the water. If you are able to get down the beach and through some of the train there are really beautiful sites hiking along the waterways and there have been for decades so I hope we all can keep it wonderful looking.

This place is a hidden gem, in Wisconsin. I'm so glad I stopped here. The falls were unexpectedly beautiful! You have to be careful when climbing the rocks. They are sandy, so you can easily slip. I found that climbing the rocks, barefooted, gave me better grip. The sight is mystical. The beach is so peaceful to hang out on, and the river is elegant. There is a fee to get into this park. It is $5. There are useable restrooms, during the daytime, as there are no lights. It's a bumpy ride, getting there, but well worth it.

This is a park in Eau Claire County Wisconsin USA
Only really 1 way in i believe, down a long dirt road to a tiny parking lot then got to walk down to water, be very careful when you get down to the falls rocks can be very slippery, seen a lot of people fall on their butts, also nice sand bar on top of falls to hang out on, water was knee to thigh deep, also you must pay to park 5.00 or county pass for the season
Yes the walking paths take you straight to the falls not even a 10 minute walk
There's a $ drop box and if you really want to keep the park in good condition and open, you should put some money in the box. Otherwise, there's no way that they can tell if you put money in the box unless they are cleaning it out, there's no money and see you in there.
I would try tower ridge
