Love this beach! Great rates, huge lake with clear water for swimming, boating, etc, sandy beach, big rec areas with shelters, and sand volleyball pits. Perfect for a small trip with kids/friends or fun gatherings as groups. I always go early on random days/hours to try and beat the crowds but I've always had a great time!

Fun family beach. Grilling is the norm here. Entry fee $4 per person. Good restrooms. Party areas available.

I've been coming to this place for 35 years. Clean beaches, safe zones for swimming and for launching boats, restrooms, bubblers, places to sit in the shade. I used to spend days here with my family as a kid. Brought my own kids back this year. Folks were friendly, there was an entire family of baby ducks, and all the kids were running amok. Really great afternoon.

There are places to fish right next to the beach i dont think you can fish at the beach
Yes. There is a cost to enter park. 3-4 dollars per person. Depends on city resident or not. If you bring boat, then it is just a 10 dollar launch fee, no limit on people, plus you can park boat on beach and use grounds for swimming, cookout, etc. You can also launch on north end dock, still 10 dollars, and can go to sandy, use park for free. There is another beach, Bartels beach you can swim for free on the east side, has tables, play area, and swim area. You can park boat there also. Rock is a great lake. I am there almost every weekend boating. This should answer any questions.
According to the City of Lake Mills website, rule #5, pets are not allowed in the park.
I don't think so. They are still remodeling, a new restaurant & Venue bldg.next year.
