one big problem with this place the lake is almost gone, no more fish and the water is maybe an inch or two deep I expect by the end of summer 2021 the lake will be gone entirely

This is an amazing place for what it is: a free recreation area in the high desert. There are no trees. There are no picnic tables. There are, however, two bathrooms and about a dozen campsites with rock fire rings (always check to see if fires are allowed before having one). The views are stunning. Worth a stay.
