We'd not explored this scenic, remote part of Oregon before. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The hot springs pool ("pond") was much nicer than we expected. An evening soak under the bright stars and Milky Way was beautiful. A cool water pool to beat the heat would be nice. The wildlife ponds provided hours of photographic entertainment for my husband and a nice walking loop for me. We camped in a partial RV hookup site (basically in the gravel parking lot) so it was really noisy with every passing vehicle. The other campsites in the overflow area would've been quieter, but didn't have hookups (a suggestion for the future?) Also - very few trees to provide any shade, and the mosquitoes were out in force.

Such an incredible and relaxing spot. Fantastic and comfortable amenities. Great opportunity for birding. We have gone when it was warmer out and this last time it just barely snowed. The hot springs is incredible any time of year. The rock bottom lets you ground like no other hot springs with such easy access. One of my favorite places on earth. A must visit.

Have always loved the high desert, now we love it even more thanks to Crystal Crane. Stayed in Cabin D, very clean, warm and comfortable. The pool setting is amazing with 24 hr access for guests, incredible development of the soaking area with many ways to relax in the water, as a birder I loved the connection to the habitat area. Staff was friendly and attentive and the resort has nice amenities to make the stay better, coffee, gathering room and kitchen. Hope to make it a annual or biannual trip.

We stayed here in our RV, and it was amazing!! My husband and I love going to hot springs (nature and resort style), and this was one of our favorites! The soaking pond being 24 hours was the best. You can go out and watch the stars at night, and you can wake up and hop in for a soak, too. The closest town is like 20 miles away, so this place was remote and so peaceful!! We can’t wait to return!

Online is the way to go. They have several options from tent site up to the fifth wheel they rent for site only (don't get to tow it as rental) if that is still an option. I would go 5th wheel or cabin if you seek comfort.
