The lines never fail here and out of stock of things needed whenever I stop by. Try the FoodMaxx on Monterey

Food max is ok i mean prices are better than safeway but the biggesg problem is that each food max has a different setup not like walmart where its a universal layout. They always have good customer service and rarely except for sundays is it ever too crowded.

Truly horrible customer service. Some of the worst trained and most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. Saving a few dollars isn't worth being treated like cattle instead of customers. It's impossible to find anything in this store. They rearranged all the products into new aisles, but never updated the signs telling you what item is in what aisle. When you ask for help from the staff, they tell you that they don't even know where anything is. Many items have empty price signs, so there is no way to find out the price of an item. Look at the pictures, there are places for the staff to put the prices, but nobody does it. Just a horrible customer experience in every single way possible.

Great selection! Accidentally was tacked on bag of Dog Food but they happily gave us back the $30. Honest mistake so all good. Been coming to this location pretty much my whole life. All good!

Not really, my Uncle & my mom are Vegan and as far as a good variety of vegan product ie: sour cream, cheese, butter, tofurky...I have to say Whole Foods but expensive...Sprouts is cheaper than Whole Foods and carry similar product. Food Maxx is good for the Almond, Cashew, Soy, Coconut milks products. Fresh produce, and grains pretty much everything else. Hope it helps
I didn't notice, but they do have a lot of Hispanic foods.
Exactly so, its on the left dide of the main isle, third yo the last row from the cashiers , along with paper napkins, aluminum foil, aerisols, dye and paper stationery goods. You can also go two foors over to BigLots who also carries much more of the same.
They have more than just their gift cards they have a lot of gift cards there!
I think part of it is its more of a family/budget oriented store, so people with severe disabilities can have there relatives pick up what they need. Verses career people who don't know & aren't related to anybody in the area who happen to have disabilities. Just an opinion, lol.
