Awesome weekend, great riding, and food with friends.

Fantastic place to ride. Be sure to have shoes on your horse, as the trails are very rocky. Be prepared for lots of steep hill climbing and great photos. You also must bring something to pick up and haul your manure up to the bunkers they provide. Its requied to pick up your picket area. Picket lines are provided. There is also electric hook up on a few sites. Overall the camp is small and fills up quickly. Take a map from online as they are hard to come by, and the trails are not marked very well for the view points.

Nice having electric hook ups. More would be nice !

This is an amazing place. Like none other. More trails than you can ride. Caves, rock formations, water falls. Something different to see around every corner. I would suggest barium shoes on your horses . A sure footed horse is a safe horse.

Theres a free horse camp without stalls but tie outs. Cowboy Larry's has full hookups and stalls. Not really sure about the prices but I'm thinking around $30. Hope this was helpful. Have a safe and wonderful ride!
Pretty quick on holidays. I would suggest coming early
No they do not do reservations.
I don't believe so!
I know i went down after Thanksgiving. I did not stay at the campground. I stayed at a primative campsite up the road. A donation box is located at the entrance. That was a few years ago though. Hope that helps a little.
You don't need reservations or do they take reservations at the park camp
