The sandos here are top quality. They use Acme bread, Molinari meats and they’re $10. What a deal for the quality of their sandos, and they really pack your sando full of meat! I like the Sicilian on ciabatta, they always have the perfect meat to condiment ratio. It’s a tight market and it can be a little chaotic inside, but that’s just part of the charm.

Tried a few butcher shops in San Francisco; folks here at Guerra are extremely knowledgeable and always helping customers to pick the best cut they want. Always give customers cookies, roasting, … instructions and their store is very clean and neat. No need to mention about the quality and f their products 💯

Wonderful service, meats are very clean and high quality. They also sell breads and wines to complete your meal. The people behind the counters know everything about their cuts so don't hesitate to ask for cooking recommendations and where they're sourced from. The prices are just right for the quality and service; they're actually slightly less expensive than from a grocery store like Safeway. Always a pleasure shopping here. Even tho it was 2 days before Thanksgiving and they were slammed, one of the butchers smilingly agreed to make me up a fresh porchetta, taking pork belly, a pork roast, seasoning and tying it for me in about 5 minutes. They make fabulous sandwiches here, too. And, they make their own corned beef, which is also delicious.
