I have been a Credo customer for over ten years! I love knowing that my money goes further than just paying for cell phone service... it helps support causes I care about. Over the years I have interacted with reps as needed and have never had a bad experience. All seem sincerely happy to help, and are polite and friendly. Today, in particular, I worked with Ron on a billing issue. He was very kind, patience, knowledgable, and when he said he could help - he truly did. Ron took some worry off my shoulders today and for that I am truly grateful! Thanks. :)

I LOVE CREDO Mobile! They have the same progressive values as I do. I'm proud to be a part of what they do and who they support. What a great concept, I can participate in donating money to progressive causes simply by paying my phone bill. Their cell phone coverage is great, and their customer service is always there to help me if I need them. They let me vote online each month on how they distribute their donations. I read that they have already donated more than $88 million to progressive causes. If you are reading this post because you're thinking of switching phone services, I highly recommend switching to CREDO. -Ron-

Credo is a terrific company. I got a new iphone for much less than any of the other companies charge and my monthly bill is lower for better service. I have only needed to use customer service once and the person was very helpful. I also like that with their profits Credo supports many non-profits organizations. Each month they send me a list of three non-profit organizations. I select the ones I want to support.

I have been with Credo Mobile for many years, and I've never been happier with a mobile phone company! My phone (Samsung S7) is super awesome, coverage is perfect, customer service has always been fantastic over the years - prompt, helpful, friendly staff. Best of all, Credo gives back money to progressive charities and helps me stay active in the activist world by sending me petitions and invites to events in my area. I wouldn't change to one of the big mainstream corporate companies for anything.

The credomobile.com page has great detail regarding your options. Click on support and look for info regarding international usage. Your best bet for the least expensive cellular phone and text and cellular data would be to purchase a local alternate SIM card in the UK to use in the phone in place of the Credo SIM while you are in the UK. If you only plan to use little or no talk and text while there you can simply have the phone enabled. It can cost over $1 per minute to call that way, though. For my last trip to Europe, this worked fine, as we were nearly always in reach of free wifi which allows for communication using apps like WhatsApp rather than using regular talk and text.
