It's a good place to go if you have young kids... the river is right by your camping spot.and the river is low...but if your like my dad and I were looking to be out in nature and relax,it's not gonna happen.the camping spots are extremely small and close together (12x12) and for the price we paid $75 a night it just doesn't seem worth all the issues we had. Bathrooms were so dirty, and you had to wait in long lines to get in there,we never got a shower cause it was always full. We reserved spot 22 it had some shade, but when we arrived there were some drunk people that had snuck in to play in the river ,and didn't wanna move so we were told to just take spot 20 ,which had complete sun literally all day long until after 5 pm .so we had no choice but to leave for the day. So we did not fry or get sun stroke. Although the woman that run this camp ground are nice, they just let some campers break all the rules and do what ever they want ,even if it ruins others peoples vacation and time. We did have a very nice family on one side of us that had 6 lil ones running around that were so nice and respectful so it can be done in the small space we were given. It's just unfortunate that the managers let the large group that took up the rest of the small camp grounds be so loud, and rude , and disrespectful...because this experience was so bad ,and how dirty the facilities were ,plus ( no camp fires allowed ever) we will not back...especially not at $75 a night.

I love this camp sight. Can't wait to get back.

The manager in question has been replaced. A friendly, service oriented and competent person is now in charge. The review by the disgruntled and negative person will be leaving the property soon. An unfair and untrue review.

Firstly the resident's are prudish troll like people that think they are above it all. The new manager Kathy Settles. Is wonderful the previous MNGR had social skill disorders. Camp Ground is great, the food was awesome all American made right and, to order. Sylvia is a wonderful Lady very helpful. Seems a bit political in the upper part of the resort with their 30k trailers and, beat up vehicles. But all in all a good family place! Truth be told I'm a resident. I have 2 affidavits for attempted murder 9n me! The owners are ex- LASD/LAPD They use their immunity to bully residence. A big problem here don't camp here water is poisonous. Water department coming soon illegal structure's bath Room's are apartment's. As if this writing no A rating no food handelers permits price for a 12 pack of beer is 33.00 dollar's. Calling every state federal authority to close this resort. It used to be nice. Now is like Tin Pan Alley. Stay away. And the owners know this is Truth. You asked for it you got it!
