The best burger place we've been to since moving to Charlotte. The best sweet potato fries I've had at a restaurant in a long time. They were not geasy at all. Will definitely be back.

Oh man!!! Cheeseburger with applewood smoked bacon! French fries! Homemade chips! Mint chocolate chip shake! Heaven on earth! Have wanted to try MOOYAH for a while and finally got the chance! Y’all. Gather your people and GO THERE! The burger was cooked perfectly, a little moist which I love! The fries were homemade and delish! And I can’t talk about the shake and chips! There are no words to describe them!!! Go there. Eat, have a shake, and you will be merry!!!

Came here on Valentines Day with my husband around noon. We walked and were greeted warmly by the cashier. The place was clean and there was only a group of women in the dining room. We placed our order for two burger meals and two chocolate chip cookies. The tops didn’t fit the cups (another customer came in afterwards and struggled getting his top on until I told him they just don’t fit). The dining room was clean however all of the booth seats were torn and they all had duck tape as their fix. When our food was brought out the fries were hot and good but the burgers not the best. The patty itself didn’t have flavor at all; they tasted like just plain beef and looked like they just had been smooshed to be cooked quickly. The buns were toasted but so cold in the middle like they were frozen! Every bite from the bottom bun was ice cold. I attempted to bring this to two employees attention. The first attempt was with the cashier but she had several customers walk in as I was speaking with her and I didn’t want to 1. Make other customers aware to the problems and 2. Hold up the customers from placing their orders. I told her I’d wait for her while she finished but it was a lunch rush so I went back to our table after standing there a few minutes. My second attempt was with one of the other employees when they came out to deliver food and I stopped him to ask if he was the manager. He informed me he wasn’t so I just let him know about our experience with the food and he stated “oh ok. I’ll let them know. “ my husband and I sat there for another 25 minutes or so thinking someone would come over and no one ever came to speak with us. No one offered to remake the food or offered to make it right. The chocolate chip cookies were so hard and not fresh; they tasted like they had been there for at least a few days. I really wanted to give the staff the chance to make things right and not post a negative review but it didn’t seem as if they cared.

MOOYAH follows the CDC guidelines and recommendations including team members wearing masks, temperature checks upon arriving for shift, regular sanitization, social distancing when possible, COVID line checks and other safety practices.
The following is all the Covid safety practice I noticed: Mask is required. Once you walk in, there are stickers on the ground marking six feet leading up to the cashier. There's usually a small line during lunch time on a weekend. There is a plastic divider between the cashier and the customer when ordering. You are given a number plate and someone will bring your order to your table. Every other table is blocked off for dining in customers. They also have a few tables outside.
