I had the Cuban sandwich meal w/ FF and a sweet Tea. Sandwich had a heaping amount of meat and the flavor was outstanding ! Highly recommend this place for a bite to eat!

Toucan louies is the place to go if you want fresh coffee (the owner roast his coffee beans himself), hot homemade food, everything is freshly made , to hand patted hamburgers, home made pancake batter , dressings, grits, Freshly squeezed lemonade ,etc. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and welcoming , there’s even nice patio seating, they are also dog friendly!

The woman working the coffee side was rude. She kept directing me away from her. She told me to have a seat, then took her sweet time, and then told someone else to finish. All the time she had no customers. The food is half decent. The shrimp and grits was like spaghetti. I would eat elsewhere.

Our party needed a last minute place to get breakfast, and Toucan was able to accommodate and give us an amazing experience. They were incredibly kind and patient. The food was amazing and had the home cooked feel that you can barely find. The atmosphere was fun and everything was very clean. We will definitely eat there again the next time we visit Charlotte
