It was a great experience eating here. People here were very friendly and the waiter was cute and beautiful. She is super friendly!! We requested on the window seat and have a great view of sunsets. The food was delicious and the wine was great as well. We enjoyed it very much. The fried calamari was not as good, other than that, everything was perfect.

Chart House was exquisite and definitely a unique experience! The menu was special and had my mom's birthday greeting printed on it! The food and drinks were delicious and well prepared, and all the staff was super friendly! We felt like the red carpet rolled out for us, and my mom felt like a celebrity!! I want to thank our waitress Jean, and staff for making our mom feel super happy, making every detail a high priority, and also having the greatest experience here for our mom's 76th birthday at the Chart House, Redondo Beach! Thank you! 🙏💯🥂🎊

I have been to this restaurant many times, I was pretty disappointed this time. I don’t know if it’s new staff, new chefs? Or because of current pandemic Covid. The waitress was not attentive at all (which is NOT at all how The Chart House used to operate) The food was nothing special anymore they don’t offer their herb crusted salmon which was amazing. I noticed a lot of their menu has pork now, not everyone eats pork, therefore it seemed like their weren’t many options of food to choose from. I am so disappointed to say I feel I have had better cuisine from chains like BJ’S :( The food was brought out cold the fingerling potatoes were hard and dried out no flavor, the broccolini was chard burnt, the garlic mashed potatoes were cold and were very bland the lobster tails were just not excellent like I remember ALL of their food being…. I’m really sad to say my date spent over $250. For the two of us and speaking for myself, especially because I choose this restaurant because it used to be one of my favorite…. I don’t see myself returning. I wish they would have never changed the menus the pictures look pretty however unfortunately the food was so lackluster.

Would definitely return here next time in redondo beach. Incredible views of the ocean paired with great food. Every main we had was delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. They allowed substitutions. The 3 course deal was an added bonus and the dessert is top notch.

Use open table to reserve a table. I had a reservation for 5:30 pm, we went earlier around 4:30pm and were able to get a table.
Casual
This is in Redondo Beach.
Don't know. But when we dine there, we wear masks. And the tables are approximately 6 feet apart.
No outdoor dining
There are rooms available for special occasions, I'm not sure about the capacity. Give the restaurant a call to reserve. I was there the other day for dinner and there was a wedding reception being held in one of the rooms.
Valet parking on site, free parking available a short distance away.
From their website... One of our more classic waterfront restaurants, Chart House Redondo Beach dates back to 1969. It's easy to see why guests love this gorgeous seafood restaurant - the waves practically break right at the table. Diners overlook beautiful sunsets every night from the surfside dining room, marveling at the view while they enjoy extraordinary seafood cuisine.
Yuck why would you want that?
11 am- 9pm and is full regular manu
The Newport Beach location is closed. The Dana Point location can accommodate private events in a banquet style setting.
They have a private banquet room in which I had an anniversary party. It has a view of the ocean.
