I drove 3 hours to deliver my dull sawmill blades to the Wood-Mizer service center and pick up other things I needed. I was treated as good as any customer could hope for. Kind Professional service. I highly recommend!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Spent over $8000.00 dollars on a Sawmill and chainsaw and other accessories for the sawmill. Howle was like my best friend when we were there purchasing everything. They didn't have 1 of the bed extensions in stock that he had previously said he did. He told me he would call me on Monday with the information on when he would ship it to me. Monday came and went. Called a week or so later and was told he was out of town. So I waited a week or so and called. He said he forgot. So he finally called back a few days later and said he can't find one. But can send me 1 off a different mill but its blue and he would send black spray paint with it. I told him no way it's not a used bicycle. It's a 8000 dollar new sawmill. He called back and said ok he found 1 and I have to pay for shipping or pick it up 3 hours away. I told him no way. I finally agreed to pay half of the cost of shipping. When I finally received the bed extension I noticed it was spray painted black. I couldn't believe it. I finally contacted the corporate office and explained this to them. They sent me the proper bed extension. The specifications for the sawmill are on the manufacture website and Joe gave me the same specifications when I purchased the sawmill. Well as it turns out they are wrong. The mill will NOT mill a 28 inch log as advertised. Ut will only mill up to a 24 inch log. Haf I known that I would have purchased the larger mill and spent more money. I want to return the sawmill and get the one that will do what I was told this one would do. Now I'm having issues with the sawmill and the chainsaw he sold me. All issues are warranty problems. Joseph Whitley will NOT email or call me so I can get the issues fixed. I contacted corporate office again and they tell me to contact the local dealer I purchased the sawmill from. I explained that is impossible unless I drive 3 hours cause Joseph Whitley won't email or call me back. I explained to corporate customer service manager that it's the specification sheet that gives the false information and Joseph Whitley said the same thing to me at time of purchase. I'm hoping that they can fix this situation and make it right.

Nice mill, but debarker doesn't function properly. Had some unethical issues between Wood-mizer factory and Wood-mizer NC. Not sure who was actually to blame. Overall, I'm luke-warm about the issue.
