Come see Bill Carson, he’s “Saving The Good Stuff” for you and a dance. Just refreshing, technology free, good old fashion fun. The facility has much to explore, the staff is great and the ambiance is spectacular.

We really liked this place. We made a detour and stopped here on the way home from the mountains.lots of apple varieties and lots of apples on the trees compared to other orchards we've been too. Beautiful view as well. There is a small back porch you can sit on and enjoy the views. There is a store with ice cream, apple cider and a few treats but unfortunately they didn't have the grill open, wish we would have known that because we were starving and planned on eating here. We were told they couldn't find a cook this year. There is a trail you can walk although we weren't able to loop it all around, it wasn't clearly marked in skme parts but on the map it does go down by the train track and the map also shows a waterfall. You can go on a tour of the orchards and pick a bag if apples for $10 a bag. Staff was friendly, the line in the store was really long. We ended up getting some apple bbq sauce and applebutter. On the weekends they do have bands playing which seems like it would be a nice time to visit. I would like to visit again when it's a little cooler and when the grill is back open.

I love the O! I'm so fortunate to be able to visit here several times a year. The heirloom apples are they way nature intended. This nonprofit organization promotes and preserves the Blue Ridge Mountain culture through music and storytelling. The people of the Orchard are so kind. I wish that I could give them 10 stars!

Apple orchard and store with beautiful mountain views. There was live music in the pavilion outside when we came on a weekend. Cute store inside with locally made crafts and items. The ice cream and apple pie was so good. Outdoor games outside, including cornhole, life-size Jenga and more. You can pick apples when it’s in season.

Yes check the web site..
Yes I believe so at least the day we was there we saw people with their pets.
The Orchard is closed now for the winter.
When I visited this time of year two years ago they were open and had lots of inventory. I suggest that you contact them by telephone or email to verify their hours of operation to be sure that they're open when you arrive. Your question is posted on a public forum where any one who cares to can reply. Your question may not come to the attention of the merchant.
I don't think so, but I live in Kentucky and haven't visited the orchard recently. I suggest that you call the orchard by phone during business hours or send them an email with your question. Your question here is posted on a public forum where anyone can answer questions. It may not come to the attention of the merchant.
I went a few days ago, they don't have any apples this year. I was very disappointed.
I suggest you call the orchard directly during regular business hours. Your question is posted on a Google maps public forum, and may or may not come to the attention of Orchard staff. Direct contact with the business itself is more likely to provide a prompt snd accurate answer to your question. As a general answer, different varieties of apples are harvested at different times, beginning in late June in Kentucky (where I live) and continuing into September. Of course, not all orchards produce a great many varieties and the harvest time varies with the location and elevation of the orchard.
