First time back at Morton's in many many years. Food was excellent! The steaks and chops were cooked perfectly! The service was good. The ambience was a bit dark for my taste but that is subjective. Really a great experience!

I never write reviews but had to share how really terrible our experience was at Morton's this evening. Food was great but the service was the worst that I believe I have ever experienced. I was a waitress in a high end restaurant in the past and can appreciate the dynamics of working in the environment. What we experienced was really not excusable! It took 30 minutes to hear that the wine that we ordered was not available and another nearly 30 minutes to get the bottle that we wanted as an alternative. The sommelier was more concerned socializing with other tables and taking a personal phone call while he watched himself talking in the mirror IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RESTAURANT! He came over to our table to let us know our wine selection was not available and said he would return, but never came back to follow up! Our waitress, noting our irritation, got the alternate bottle of wine that we selected and brought it over herself. Then our main course came out 1 hour 15 minutes after we arrived, at which point we had 30 minutes before I needed to pick up my dogs from daycare, (which I let the waitress know in advance). Even with putting my credit card on the table with 15 minutes to spare before I needed to leave, I ended up having to depart the restaurant and my partner had to stay to pay the bill. (It took 15 minutes from the time that my credit card was picked up to have the waitress return to the table with the card and receipt to sign). I'm not sure what to say other than that we were frustrated from beginning to end!! We eat out at least once a week at similar type restaurants and so we were shocked to experience the slow service from beginning to end. I will not spend my money in this restaurant again and with all of the similar high end steak restaurants in town......save yourself the frustration and make a reservation at a competitor. The food is good service is good the restaurant is so dark sit on the sides , food is serviced À la carte no sides thier sides are for sharing. Appetizers the tuna and brucheta good , steak is good as well chocolate cake needs 30 min , adam is great

Don't even bother. It's way too expensive. Everything is all a cart. I did expect extra special service but our cute little waiter was busy with a large table and did Apologize but it was our daughter special birthday and the bill was about 300 on the $400 for four people and I really expected a lot more. The steak was good. My husband really liked the truffle butter. I will never go back.

Every hour is a happy hour at Morton's.
My opinion is my money is green just like everyone else I dress how I like to be comfortable if that public place chooses not to serve me because the way I'm dressed I will be glad to go somewhere else where I'm not judged and there is always better
