Beautiful and clean campground. Toilets and two showers in the bath house near me. There appears to be a bath house in every section. Friendly staff. Helpful. Clean bathrooms. I mean they work so hard they even have flowers in the bathroom. Some sites are on hills but it is still shady and beautiful. The RV sites are asphalt but the tent sites appear to have gravel.

Beautiful campground! Well-maintained. Only 2 pull through sites so reserve earlier. Previous review said that it is a come first come first serve but you can definitely reserve spots – we did. Very inexpensive. No store, water, Wi-Fi, but has a nice bath house and easy dump station. Wonderful national park. Lots of trails! Also has lots of bear proof dumpsters, and even recycling containers! Just gorgeous!

Nice level blacktop site, easy to get into with a 34ft rig, close to shoping & historic town of Cumberland Gap & plenty of hiking trails! Would highly recommend!

Very nice campground. Well maintained, campground host was very friendly. Sites are average size and lots of shade. Very clean restrooms and bathhouses. The only reason this campground does not get a 5 star rating from me is I think it needs a play area/playground for kids. Also it could use more electric sites. They only offer 2 loops(B&C) with electric and they all always occupied. This is one of my favorite campgrounds.

Yes
They are open all year round.
Yes, I think they closer at the end of September.
They have 160 campsites. 41 sites have electric. Zero have water hook-up. Zero have sewer hook-up. Potable water is available at several comfort stations (a.k.a. bathhouses) throughout the campground. Their web address is www.nps.gov/cuga/planyourvisit/camping.htm
We didn't have to check in with a person. We grabbed an envelope from the gate, picked out a site, wrote the info on the envelope and card, then dropped it into the slot. The detached card goes on the post at your site. So, you don't have to check in with a person. However, it's all first come, first served, so there's no guarantee of an available site. It was pretty empty when we came a month ago (on a rainy day) but i bet it's busy in the summer. It's a lovely campground and park though. Enjoy
