Noodles and Company

First time eating at Noodles and Company. The wife brings some home and I've enjoyed the Buffalo chicken Mac and cheese but I wanted to try one of the Asian dishes. Tried pad Thai with grilled chicken. They forgot the chicken, but gave it separately. It was sweet, which was surprising for me but I'm no pad Thai expert. I suspect I would have liked it more if it wasn't, but that's me.

I placed the order on the app and went to the drive-thru window to pick it up. Girl standing at the counter completely ignored that I was there. (I know my order was ready for p/u by the app). She took two new orders out to customer in the restaurant while I was still at the window as well as stood there talking to someone in the kitchen while I STILL waited. I finally backed up and came over the sensor agin and heard it beep inside twice. Girl STILL ignores me. Finally she decides I was worth her notice to come over to see what I was there to p/u. I almost said something to her, but know it wouldn't make a difference. Maybe I was the wrong skin color for her.

My daughter enjoyed her food. She had the mac and cheese kids' meal. I didn't care for my meal. It's not my type of pasta but it may be yours. Good Luck!

Now I try not to give a lot of one star reviews on google. But they deserve it. First of all, the atmosphere is great and the sides on the noodles were great such as chicken, carrots, and broccoli. But the noodles were atrocious. They tasted like they were raw and and an absolute pain to eat. I don’t know why the noodles were spicy even though I tasted my mothers “spicy” noodles and they were significantly less spicy then mine. I have a lot of Asian cuisine so I believe I have a good perception on what Chinese food should taste like and what the texture should feel like. But this was hands down, the worst Asian cuisine I have ever eaten. Plus the portion size is small also for the price. I would recommend Panda Express to get a better bang for your buck and overall better food. 1/5.
