The Gonza staff are national treasures! Some of the nicest people I've ever met. The food was A1 and the margaritas were tasty. These days good service isn't easy to find so I appreciate their commitment to service excellence. Would definitely return.

Gonza (Hillsborough street) recently worked with my fiancé to host an engagement party for us, our families, and 15 of our friends. It was the perfect venue, the staff was amazing and the food and drinks were incredible! I would definitely recommend their back room for big, private events!

I ordered the Burrito El Guapo sans chicken, it came with fried plantains. I also tried some of my sister's fajitas. For dessert, I had the Talega Del Platano. First off, the chips and salsa were decent. Nothing spectacular, but you could tell that it was relatively fresh. I ordered some Guacamole to try it with the chips, but I was disappointed that it was only mediocre, especially for the price they charged for a small bowl. The burrito was really good! It didn't taste like anything I had before and it was at an adequate temperature (a little it hot and then gradually gets to the perfect warm temperature as your meal goes on). The fried plantains tasted like fried plantains, you either like the taste or you don't. I personally love them, so these were very delightful. The vegetables in the fajitas were cooked with some seasoning that was PHENOMENAL. I don't really know how to describe it, but it was very flavorful and even one bite gave a burst of flavor in my mouth. The dessert (Talega Del Platano) was also nothing short of wonderful. It was a fried tortilla with the sides up (to make a sort of "bag") with some sweet pink filling inside alongside a scoop of ice cream. This dessert is definitely a must-have for anyone with a sweet tooth. Overall, the chips and salsa and guacamole was average but the actual food and dessert were well-worth their price tag.

First time here and the experience was great. The food was really tasty. I would like to say that one of the best dishes if not the best is El plátano. The server was awesome, great attitude. Wonderful atmosphere, and the decor is mind blowing.
