The good-the chicken fried steak and gravy were tasty. The bad-the service was unpleasant. I sent back a banana muffin that had no bananas and didn’t taste like banana. That upset the server apparently, she never came by our table again except to drop the check. Also they charged us $2.00 to split our meal???? Really? That is unacceptable!! She also informed me that they are charging extra money to order off the kids menu. The condiment bucket was filthy. We won’t be back.

Phenomenal service, good food and a place we'll definitely be back to soon. The younger guy who made our coffee was so sweet and definitely made a great cup of pumpkin spice coffee! The French toast was good. The bacon was crispy and not greasy. I loved the grits and hash. Our waitress was sweet and accommodating. New little gem of a place!

Village Cafe is closed for Easter, but we have a veggie burger which is Morning Star brand. i am unsure if it is vegan but know it is vegetarian. We also have multiple salads with different dressing selections such as balsalmic or razz vinegarette. I'm not sure what bread/wraps (flour or spinach tortilla) contain as far as animal products/biproducts but we have multiple vegetable options which could be used to create vegetable sandwiches. I hope this helped answer your question!
