During what was a difficult time for friends and family Arlington Mortuary delivered service in a timely manner and with the utmost care and sensitivity. The staff was courteous and comforting while informative about the options available. The facility allowed for flexible seating which was nice for a large crowd to fit. I would definitely recommend to others in the area.

Dealing with loss is never a positive experience and to top it off Covid has made the task of buying a loved one even more difficult. I really appreciated the care and compassion I received from Arlington's team, especially their manager Emily. I ran into so many problems with my grandma's services because of everything being slowed and delayed due to covid but they helped me every step of the way.

The day of my Brother-In-law's services, his wife, my Sister-In-Law, was pulled into a side room and told the County rejected the death certification and they could not get the permit to bury my Brother-In-Law. The night before she was told "everything is OK, you have nothing to worry about" as far as services & permits. My Sister-In-law spent the entire time of the memorial trying to make phone calls to the County to see if she could do anything to help retain the permit. The Mortuary staff should have done that. When we asked for a Supervisor, the Supervisor only came and apologized. They gave my Sister-In-Law a few minutes to "say goodbye"because they had another service coming up. The staff hurried us out of the facility as they had another service following. We had to tell over 80 family/friends that there wasn't going to be a cemetery service. Now my Brother-In-Law is still not buried and the cemetery still does not have a permit from the Mortuary. My family and I are living a NIGHTMARE. My Sister-In-law did not get to sit through her husband's services due to lack of the Mortuary doing their job, nor get a final goodby with the love of her life.

This should be a place of closure for the family. Not for one person because they are the contact. Their so called policy has caused my family a lot of turmoil and stress. Taking the sob story of one person (not next of kin) and taking it personal. This is a place of business not a courtroom. No one should ever have to experience what my family and I have experienced here. They made us wait 45 minutes to go inside because my father's caregiver needed her "alone time" with MY FATHER. Saying she was next of kin when clearly his own daughters were next of kin were present. Rosie gave complete and total disregard for any respects to our family. What should've been a time of mourning and comfort became stressful and disappointing. Revoking our purchases of fingerprint keepsakes to any family as per the caregiver request. After receiving this shoking information majority of the family left. Sad and disappointed we all decided to go to a nearby restaurant and celebrate my father's life elsewhere. Where we could remember him in a more pleasant setting. As other members of the family arrived and heard what happened they came to join us and comfort each other. What you intended for evil, God turned around for his glory. While torn and broken for that moment, WE STILL STAND. THANKS FOR NOTHING ROSIE! I will never recommend this place of business to anyone seeking comfort during any loved ones death. This place is a disgrace to the City of Riverside for the way the handle conflict between families and instead of trying to resolve any dispute encouraged this injustice. Shame on you and all your minions who are just "doing their job"
