Cost Less Carpet of Yakima

Ray at Costless Carpet is a new owner, I'm told, and I'm hoping our experience will help him learn to be a better communicator. We chose our quartz countertops from them, but they outsource to Yakima Granite for the full installation of countertops and sink. The two companies got in an argument about the sink we chose from Costless Carpet. We were willing to pay for the sink up front, but were not asked to pay before the installation. A sales associate from Costless refused to give the sink to Yakima Granite the DAY BEFORE installation. Ray appeared to pretend he didn't know anything about the problem with the sink. He also said that I should have understood that I was supposed to tear out my own countertops everywhere in the kitchen by a statement about electrical wiring for the garbage disposal. Just one clear written list would have changed everything. It was very disorganized and confusing. In the end, Yakima Granite tore out the old countertops for free and provided the sink for free, all to make up for Ray and Costless carpet's poor communication. If you want countertops, you might just go to Yakima Granite and skip Costless.

These people are very helpful & customer service oriented. We’ve used them on 3 projects. After completing our most recent project, they called me to refund the cost of carpet pad that they had charged me for since it was actually part of the carpet we had selected. I wouldn’t have known any different. Honesty & customer service goes a long ways & these people have it figured out!

Love the price here! I had a great customer experience the first time I was there but second time I called after explaining I was a returning customer the associate was crotchety... attitude and even ha going up without a “your welcome or goodbye” and I could hear frustration in her voice. 12:16 May 1st 2020. Maybe she needs someone to ask her if she’s ok or get a customer service adjustment.
