My wife and I had a private cooking class with Kevin and his mother assisted and it was delightful. They argued like an old New York married couple and kept the mood light. The house is in an average middle class neighborhood near the port in Wilmington but when you go inside it appears half of it has been turned into an professional kitchen. We prepped, cooked, learned and then sat down for a private meal with wine. The meal we made with Kevin was as good as any top restaurant food here in Wilmington. Would definitely recommend.

I got a surprise trip to Kevin and Susan’s kitchen from my bride to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. She would not tell me where we were going until “day of” so I did not know how to dress, if I needed a haircut, or I would be able to use the bathroom whenever I wanted to. We showed up on the DeMarco Family Kitchen doorstep - or “stoop” as this Kevin and that Kevin would call it, not knowing what to expect, if we would feel comfortable or not, but hoping for the best. Not 5 minutes through the door we were as comfortable as if we were with old friends. Kevin and Susan are extremely welcoming, informative, and down to earth, considering Kevin’s background and varied skills. The meal was fantastic, prepared and served with elegance and charm. The wine pairings per course were incredible, and we were left on our own to enjoy the food and drink. We talked about more than just food, learned a bunch about our hosts, some kitchen skills, and left feeling as though we made new friends. Kevin and I already spoke about our next get-together, where we want to introduce some of our friends to he and Susan. Can’t wait for that opportunity.

Chef Kevin DeMarco's Family kitchen is a great cooking experience. My mother and I highly recommend the cooking classes which are fun and informative. We like that it's a group effort so whatever we are making we get to enjoy in the end with a wine pairing. Kevin is a master at making the simplest menu into an elegant dinner. Everyone is family at the DeMarco Family Kitchen!

The cooking enjoyment of DeMarco Family Kitchen includes the great company of other guests, the fun of preparing the meal with easy instruction and experience Chef Kevin’s culinary knowledge and his perfect pairings with wine, fruit and dessert. I hope to attend a DeMarco Family Kitchen class again very soon!
