The people at the stores have been great but what’s happened to the quality? The pair on the rt I’ve gotten 2-3 yrs of work out of while the pair on the left have about 6months work time on em. I’ve been happy with redwings for the last 5 pairs but with these two “exact” same pairs the difference in quality is obvious.

I went to the San Diego store and they were helpful but didn't have the boot in my size. They called the El Cajon store where they held a pair for me. When I arrived the store was closed! While I was trying to decide if I should come back or wait, I saw a man heading towards the store with a sandwich he had just bought. I said, "If you want to eat your sandwich go ahead, I'll just look at the displays for a while." But he did not, he asked how he could help. Long story short while he helped me three or four other people came into the store, he helped them and also answered the phone a couple times! He was very nice to all the patrons and callers. Sometimes you can tell when someone is in a rush but not in this case. I don't think anyone could tell he had a sandwich waiting in the back room. Helping customers was his priority! I asked his name and he said, "Chris." Thank you Chris for being so helpful despite the fact that you were probably hungry and wanted to eat your lunch! Love my first pair of Red Wings!

This Red Wing store had great customer service was tailored toward my needs in finding the right boot. With limited selection on what I was looking for I was able to find the right boot that I have been satisfied with. Chris, the manager, was absolutely amazing. I came in on Saturday hoping to buy my first pair of real boots, unfortunately that didn't happen. However, Chris was an absolute charm. He helped me try on a ton of shoes to find my exact fit and he gave me tons of advice. If you need Redwings boots and you have any doubts, don't. Come here, ask for Chris.
