I had an eye exam yesterday and was scheduled with Dr. Juliette DiLibero because of availability issues with my regular Doctor at a different location. No one likes anything about eye exams, but I left my appointment much happier than when I arrived. Dr. DiLibero was very personable and the whole experience was great. She answered my questions with a smile and explained things in a way that was easily understood. I will definitely be scheduling all future eye appointments with her!

I don’t think Ana Hernandez is professional at all! She has a very very bad attitude on the phone! She seems like a very miserable person and maybe lonely I don’t know but She lacks respect and morals! It’s sad because this is a great establishment!

Did the self check in although there was no one else in line. It's easy to use and took less than one minute. I was there for my optometry appointment and was called in before my appointment time. I was in and out within fifteen minutes. Thanks Kaiser for your great staff at this location.

In previous years I received care on the orthopedic side of the building and had a good experience. although it took them over a year to get me the surgery needed they were always professional and courteous. Recently for the OB/GYN side I always experience terrible customer service and nurses who are not knowledgeable in their field. Even had a very unprofessional experience with Michelle Christine Turley, MD via a telephone appointment. She minimized my health concerns and told me tests wouldn’t show anything and that basically I was just old and fat. She stated Someone would reach out to me for testing and no one ever did. I waited months while my health got worse thinking they were backed up due to covid. I requested to never be seen by her again. Most recently after receiving much better care at Otay Mesa. It was determined after my medical procedure that another one would need to be scheduled to resolve my health issue. This required me to complete another consent form. I was still recovering from my procedure when I went into the Kaiser Travelodge location to do so. Due to a bad accident on the freeway and then the covid checkin measurements I was 4 minutes late to the appointment. I waited an additional 15minutes knowing I was late before I inquired about the wait. Th receptionist was rude and very short in her tone with me. I watched this same receptionist be extremely kind to a white patient who came in after me. I had to go up 3 additional times to check the status. They very rudely mentioned my being late and I explained there was traffic. Jessica Blair Macias, LVN finally invited me back a half hour later just to show me that the orders were not put in correctly. This is not my issue or concern as a patient and clearly she wasn’t even ready at the original appointment time, but kept trying to place blame on my tardiness. She made no effort to reach out to any of the doctors to put in the order so tha we could proceed. I ended up walking out and Otay Mesa quickly rescheduled a same day appointment with no issues. The wonderful team there apologized for the mix up and got things moving. I work in customer service and I never make excuses or place blame on a customer when issues arise. Kaiser Travelodge OB/GYN needs better training and skills. I will never return to that office. To belittle a patient when they are suffering is unethical. Later that day Dr. Brown called to checkin and knew of the incident and claimed the nurse didn’t know she was in her office. Yes, because she made no attempt to do her actual job while she had me waiting. Even if she would’ve just came out and said I’m sorry you’ll need to reschedule due to a mix up that would’ve been better.
