Great park on alder lake. Free on weekends and non holidays. Might be free on weekends. Supposedly a $10 fee but I didn’t see any kiosk for payment. Good facilities, pretty large parking but it does get full. We got there before noon on a Monday and had no problem getting a spot. Did a nice paddle around the lake and played in the swim area. Shoes are recommended in swim area, kid cut her foot on something in there.

A beautiful little lake not far from Fredrickson area. Swimming, boating and hiking abound!!

Absolutely beautiful. I've come here every summer all my life and the park here has been well kept, even improved in certain areas. The swim area is clean and very nice. Beautiful scenery, clean air, and nothing but nature all around; almost heaven to me. I just wish that some of the visitors here would take the personal responsibility to pick up after themselves and keep this place nice for everyone else.
