Love this place. Just 12 min to LAX. Lots of boats and water. Fisherman's Village is a quaint collection of shops and restaurants adjacent to the Marina 's main entrance from the SEA. When you stop in tell them Joe sent you...they will say Joe Who?...that's me 😃...

As a slip tenant at the Marina for six years, I cannot begin to emphasize how much I appreciate Julie and the rest of the staff at MDR Marina. I was new to world of boating when I purchased my boat and became a member of this marina. Because I live outside of the Los Angeles area, I must rely on the staff as well as my neighbors at the marina to keep an eye out while I'm away. During my first year, I mistakenly divulged information to someone about my vessel and he subsequently tried to use my boat as his new home as soon as I left town. Thanks to the marina staff's vigilance, he was prevented from squatting on my vessel. When leaving such a valuable possession such as a large watercraft in someone else's care (especially in a large city such as L.A.), it is very reassuring to know that you have people like Julie and the rest of the staff looking out for you. The dock maintenance crew are among the most personable and professional guys you will meet. The boaters are also some of the most personable, which is no doubt a result of the higher standards that that this particular marina holds their members to. Thanks again to all of the awesome staff at Marina Del Rey Marina!
