When Mt. High East gets enough snow it can be quite good to excellent. It's the most vertical at 1,600 ft in Southern California plus it's a high speed quad chairlift. As a comparison Mammoth's chair 9 6 pack is longer with 1,700 vertical. It does stop frequently partly due to loading & unloading sightseers & perhaps mechanical issues.

Not much has changed in 20 years at Mountain High East, except $20 parking and now there is tubing (kinda small with "magic carpet" lift only for the tube as rider must walk to top of these slides). Mnt High now charges $20 parking! Are you kidding me? The lot is same jigsaw puzzle of busted asphalt as it was 30 years ago, except potholes are now bigger! Skiing is still good. Mnt High gets some nice snow when it rains in Los Angeles (90 minutes away). They also do well blowing snow. Night skiing is good also. The interior of the Mnt High West lodge has been recently renovated. They have a nice grill outside ($14 hamburgers, $17 for a double). They allow NO outside food, so you'll be eating any home brought food in your overpriced $20 parking spot. 🤣

You need to sign a waiver before you purchase tickets for the fun stuff. They don't tell you this until it's your turn to purchase tickets. Fine. But at least the staff was extremely friendly. A little pricey on the sled, tubing, and other stuff, and just to be able to stand/play in the snow. Fine again! My kids are worth it, and my baby daughter loved it. It is a very nice place and the snow is very beautiful. Good job Mt. High East - Yetis Snow Park

Fun place. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The snow was a little icy and slushy but that's not uncommon at mountain high. The chair lift was a great bonus and it was fun to hang out at the restaurant at the top and soak in the views. The price point is a little high though at $80/PP, especially considering you have to purchase a ticket to be there, even if you are just an observer. Also, make sure to budget for the $20 parking fee.

I work for the Resort and yes yeti snow park is closed for the remainder of the season. West does have snow.
Snow is still being made at night - so there is plenty of snow at Yeti and elsewhere. Get there early. Temps drop seriously at 2pm.
Freeparking
Check Saturday or Sunday

Yes Linda I'm sorry it's not cheap to have a good time with your kids . But you have to remember you're not spending 5 hours On a mountain road to a resort that charges the same price.
