I attended Mass here while in San Diego for a conference. It's a bit of a hike from the Convention Center, but it's worth the walk. The music was beautiful and varied, including traditional hymns and more modern tunes, such as a high-energy jazz Gloria. Best of all, the people were welcoming, even to a stranger clearly from out of town.

I saw no sales activity outside, just many homeless. They need to come in.
The Ace Parking Lot is Free for the Sunday if not Saturday Masses and on weekdays, I believe it is free after 6 PM or whenever the nearby parking meters are free.
