Father moved to this hospital against his will, surgery "when we can squeeze you in," 11:00 am we are going to have you eat solid food, got food at 5:00, told he was being released, that was 2 hours ago...still waiting. Honestly, I've never witnessed this level of indifferent incompetence. Nurses seem to be trying to operate in a broken system to the best of their ability. But overall would have to give this place a failing grade. Don't get me started on the lack of parking.

This place has gone down hill 100% to come into the ER seeking help at 2am and not get seen until 5:30am is horrible. To get asked your pain scale from 1 -10 and I give a 10 and still not get seen and have to wait 2.5 hours is plain ridiculous. This is how the lobby looked, but yet I get told by the nurse they are super busy...WHERE!!!!...FOR a student resident to evaluate me and tell me there is nothing wrong and prescribe me the same exact medication that I strictly told him it was not working.. Kaiser are these the type of people you are hiring to represent your company.. Lastly when finally asked to come back I am placed in a room and asked to sit on a gurney with no sheet protector... Kaiser Fontana you must do better. We pay to much for Health Care Coverage to get this type of service.. People please be wear. For some odd reason you an't post photos. I wonder why.. you don't want the public eye to see

My 80+ year old father who never goes to the hospital, has been waiting for more than four hours at the "Emergency room". He has not been attended to yet. He has abdominal pain and has been throwing up. And yet he has been waiting to see someone, anyone. No wonder they have a poor rating. If something bad happens to him because of the long long wait, we will sue this place. Why are we paying for this non-service. I hope you do not come here with life threatening injuries, because they will try to see if you die first before they have to treat you. Update-1: It has been 5.5hrs now and still nowhere closer to get evaluated nor seeing a doctor. Update-2: It is now after midnight and we have been waiting for six hours for help. I am convinced Kaiser Fontana Emergency Room is just waiting for my father to die in their waiting room.

I come from LA and the kaiser on sunset is so fast and efficient. I been at this kaiser for an hour and a half and it is so ridiculous. My daughter who is 3 got checked outside by the nurse that is checking people in. Then she sent me to wait outside in a hot tent. This is so ghetto. Never have I experienced this kind of treatment from kaiser. I am a paying customer my daughter doesn't deserve this. In an hour and a half none of these chairs have been sanitized. I see them taking people in wheelchairs and none were sanitized. People are being seen in the hallways. Patients privacy is definitely being violated here. Nurse is asking us what happened in front of other people. Diagnosis are being given in front of everyone. This is insane.

I have Medi-Care & Medi-Cal. These health care plans acquired due to disability or finacial difficulty, and DO NOT charge co-pays under such circumstances. However, they may have limitations on coverage specifically to your care, (thanks to Trump). If you seek any further care with a soecialist, you will have to go through steps of approval, beginning with your PCP (primary care physician) ... But don't give up. Kaiser Permanente is faster in referring and approving than any othet insurance. It is also the most cost effective, because it is a non-profit ... The best plan health for you. Rememer early December is the deadline for enrollment!!!!!
Im sure there's more but for sure; King Taco, Viva Villa, El Paisa..all on Sierra Ave
Use their website or call customer service
emergency room
The hospital phone number is (909)427-5000. I hope it helps you.
It's on west side of the campus.. along Sierra
Building 5 is actually across the street on the north side of Marygold Avenue. Not sure if there's a pharmacy in building 5.
U would have to contact the nurse station
Yes there is a guest wifi network with a landing page to agree to the terms and conditions, then you connect
Call the hospital and ask them.
Call and ask, just make sure it the right hospital
Usually if it's Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am 5 pm you'll get the open chance that the optometry department should guaranteedly be open but don't quote me on that one your best bet would be to TAKE THAT chance!!!
Short staffing
Office building 1 & 2. It's a joint building. Radiology will be on the 3rd floor to the right at the top of the stairs.
Basement of bld 1 and 2
Testing is at Palm court II 17284 Slover ave Fontana 92337 Mon- fri 830am- 230pm Sat 7am- 1230p
Kaiser tends to focus on students coming out of college universities and communities. However, they do hire students coming out of trade schools, but they won't offer full pay for those positions the way they would a college student.
Sorry it doesn't
You can have the flowers dropped off to one of the entrances and an employee can take them up for you. All patients are allowed 1 visitor now as well
Building 2
No
Its the main hospital
Enter off marygold left side parking structure
You may have to get a referral from your primary physician, but I'm not 100% certain.
MOB 1 & 2
Yes. 7 days all holidays 9am - 9pm walk in's
It's in the main hospital first floor.
Yes you can check with security.
Building 7 by sierra avenue
One significant other more get in the way
Yes
For that information, you need to call the number on your Kaiser Permanente card ask to speak with a representative and then try to leave a message to the doctor someone will contact you from her office. Hope this will help.
How can I find out what room my husband is in?
The MOB 1&2 are on the east side. Signs inside direct you to the proper building.
Depends on which office building you visit
Kaiser will evaluate anyone. Non-emergency will be charged community rates. Referrals to local care givers
That depends on which unit the patient is on.
Yes The Kaiser system has almost every specialty somewhere
Not at this time because of the measles outbreak. Not just at this location but several hospitals. Kids should not e inside hospitals at all.
Across from the Hospital. Parking Structure 2 is attached to it and has an entrance from the structure.
It depends on what test is being done. HIPAA rules are strict about patient confidentiality. 60 years ago a husband could keep a doctor from telling the wife results of her own tests.
There are many radiology locations. Some are limited in the studies they do.
Probably 6pm but you should call Kaiser to confirm.
If you go into Building 1 there is normally a greeter there to help direct you. If not, there is a front desk there. I wish I knew exactly what building to help you better but I haven't been to that department yet. Good luck!
9am to 9pm
Every hospital ER is about that long of a wait. It depends on your emergency on how fast you get seen
let the phone agent know you are requesting for a doctor change. Let agent know if you want a male or female and if you want Family medicine provider or Internal medicine
I think there are pretty normal Hospital hours, like 10 to 8 maybe 8 to 10
Building 2 building 1 first floor
MOB 3 last I saw.
Can vary depending on the department and situation, call that patients nurses station.
The relatives can take a shower while they stay in their room.
Ask the nurses there, it varies not only by hours but what other issues are on that floor at the time and the circumstances of the patients issues.
Yes there is. Never tried the food but I hear only good things about the cafeteria. Also there's a small "farmers market" type event every Friday with locally grown fresh fruits and handmade goods.
I do not think so. Call the appointment line.
Don't know for sure Call
The parking structure by MOB3 is usually the best bet, but mid-morning to mid-afternoon it tends to be full. Always arrive early. After hours you want to park as close to the ER entrance (southern lots) as possible.
Outpatient: building 3. Inpatient: hospital. 1st floor by ER
Yes, first floor, back inside the building. Follow the signs. Note that there also is a pharmacy just inside the hospital (from the MOB3 entrance), which may be closer.
a
All. The time
It depends on the severity of your need and the available staff. If it's not life threatening you might want to consider waiting for urgent care when it opens in the morning in MOB1. If a doctor or nurse told you to come in, sit tight. If something gets worse, let them know immediately. All ER's typically have long wait times, 6 hours is not unusual and 12-18 hour waits do happen.
Don't know
If you are on a family insurance i think it should but do call the front desk and they will help you pull that out and confirm. Hope this helps. Cheers!
I dont work at kaiser , but im sure if you need medical assistance they will provide you with whatever they can.
May be that triage nurse that would not let me in the emergency room is out parking cars
Amana dryer start getting your medications mailed to you. You can do it really easily on the website, it's awesome.
If she is in the hospital ask the nurses.
There are flu shot shot Stations are set up On most of the floor entrances and 5 most pharmacies at Kaiser Me only to walk up to one of them and give them your medical records number
Don't know I don't belong to Kaiser
