My family and I (group of 7 people) visited the restaurant last Thursday evening around 6pm. The menu did not have a good variety of choices to start with. We ordered crab dip for an appetizer. It came and was not even warm and tasted, well, really had no taste. We ordered and got our food which was not much better. Our baked potatoes were not even hot enough to melt the butter. Overall experience was not good. We will not be back to that restaurant in Calabash NC.

I would give the taste of food a 6, the quantity a 4. I ordered the stuffed flounder, not much stuffing (could barely taste it) and the fish was sooo small. Did not fill me up at all. My husband ordered marinated chicken, was not too bad, but small. Coke slaw and baked potatoes were good. When we came home we ate again. Unfortunately these days, The quantity goes down and the price goes up.

The service was incredible but the food was not good at all. It started with all our drinks being very flat. I got the $30 ribeye and it was mostly fat and gristle. The others in our party didn’t like their food either. Based on the other reviews, it seems this place has recently declined. Hopefully they figure things out. It’s such a beautiful place.

Great experience! The waitress was amazing! So kind, gave us great tips on the menu, added extra item for the oysters they were out of. The food was yummy! We had 8 people and everyone enjoyed the food. The view was fantastic! There is also a great outside eating place as well.
