Very nice campground, the sites are wonderful. The quad site is a very well thought out accommodation that I have not seen at any other resorts. The pools and splash pads are exquisite. The creamery is a very nice addition for everyone. They have several nice ponds to fish in and a large store and a little food concession stand! The downfall of this campground, especially compared to other Jellystones are the activities are poorly planned out and not communicated to guests. The jumping pillow is only open one hour each day if they don’t decide to close it completely. We were told laser tag was cancelled on Friday and that weather permitting it would be on Saturday, so we go to sign up on Saturday and are told by another staff member that they already had laser tag on Friday and they are just not doing it at all Saturday even though it was on the schedule. So we had 4 very disappointed children who didn’t get to do laser tag or the jumping pillow. And while I’m aware there is really nothing the park can do about it but the flies and Knats are absolutely horrible.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. We got a buddy site -the quads and had a great time. They have a ton of activities for the kids to do throughout the day. Splash park and outdoor pool were both open along with indoor pool. The ponds are beautiful and tons of people were fishing. We can’t wait to come back.

Really enjoyed out time there. As an older person the cleanliness of the showers and restrooms was outstanding. They were always clean whenever I went. Shout out to Ms. Teresa, Connie & Holly! Grandkids were always entertained. Safe environment with very cordial staff ready and willing to help. This was my first visit, but Lord Willing, we will be back - hopefully many more times!

We had a blast at Daddy Joe's even in the "off-season"! We came for our kids' spring break (first week of March) and while the campground was pretty quiet during the week, there were lots of kids to make new friends on the weekends. The facilities are all really well taken care of. The bathrooms were nice and clean, and the mini-golf course was well-groomed. Don't forget to bring the fishing poles for the numerous ponds! They even have a neat dirt track for bikes, the kids really enjoyed it! The mostly flat campground with paved roads throughout was great for our 5-year-olds on their bikes, and nearly all spaces had a paved pad which was great. We especially enjoyed the heated indoor pool (the main reason we choose this location for our spring break). While there's not much to do immediately around Tabor City, this location was great for accessing both Wilmington and Myrtle Beach for day trips (our included: Battleship NC, NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher and the beach, Museum of Coastal Carolina, Ingram Planetarium, and WonderWorks and Ripley's Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach).
