I called ahead to be sure they were open. Lady said I'd like to see the books. So I drove on over. the neon sign above the door "Open". Yet the door was locked! Lights were on but nobody inside. I tried calling again and it went to full mailbox. I waited around outside to no avail. I finally gave up.

Sweet, friendly owner. One-of-a-kind used bookstore with plenty of treasures to be had. Also a lot to do in the area with bars, vintage shops, theatres, and local restaurants.

I don't like giving anyone a low review but I'll be honest the lady working was not very attentive to customer care. She mention that the prices for each used book were written on the first page of the item and their was a 30% discount based on the actual written price which was on the first page. Well, with that being said, I decided to buy a few used books, as she looked at the prices she shook her head and said to me, " these prices are not accurate" she gave the books a higher prices and well so much for my 30 percent discount. I questioned her actions and her reply was very serious : A simple mistake she said, but I just corrected the problem. I didn't buy the book but I was polite and thanked her for her time.

I never expected going to see Neil Young last year and finding such a excellent little book shop. They had a ton of fantasy novels. I kinda kick myself but they had a D and D style game box featuring and based on Tolkien works. Really is a collectors paradise and the people that run it were very kind to me and my lady. I wish they would move closer to where I lived I would just hang out there all day.
