When Mariano's first opened up my husband and I went there and had fabulous food. We were so happy that a restaurant had the kind of food that we liked. Now it's a venue and only for weddings and such things. We were very sorry to see the restaurant part close but we're happy for the owners that were making a lot of money with the wedding venue.

Perfect place if your looking for an indoor/outdoor venue. Catering is included which is a plus. Food was delicious! My favorite was the beautiful lake front ceremony space. Mr. Mariani was helpful throughout the process and there to answer any questions I had. The only downside was that there is an additional fee to use the chairs for the outdoor ceremony. I’ve seen a few venues that do this. It would be better if that was included in the initial contract pricing. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend Mariani’s venue for your next event.

The venue and garden was wonderful! Those two factors coupled with my hard working team made my day special. Mariani needs to hire a manager to work with people. Almost every time I reached out to him after paying my deposit he seemed to not know who I was. Just saving my number would have made a big difference in our interactions. Many times during our interactions I was asked how many people were attending the wedding including two days before the event, even though that had been settled many times before and was in our contract. During a visit to the venue I asked if we could store appetizers, cake and decorations at the venue the Friday before my Sunday wedding. The owner said that wouldn’t be a problem. I along with my coordinator, reminded him about that plan through text the week of my wedding. When we arrived on the scheduled day, he told my family he didn’t know we were dropping things off. The morning of our wedding he asked me what time our ceremony started. Our wedding started almost an hour late because water from a garden hose flooded our ceremony space and needed to be dried before we could start. There were many frustrations throughout the experience that could have been avoided with better communication.

This is one of the best venue's in NC. As a vendor, this venue is vendor friendly and a awesome team player in the success of any event that they host. This was my second wedding here and the management and staff go the extra mile to make sure everything is a great success. It doesn't get any better for a couple looking for a perfect venue for a wedding day celebration. Able to do a wedding day ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, all at one location. Because of its beautiful settings around the venue, couples can also have a beautiful photo shoot with their professional photographer without even leaving the venue. This is the idea venue to have a wedding day because they understand the 10 hour wedding day planning window. I highly recommend this venue for a perfect wedding day! Also as a bonus, the food was awesome! I normally don't eat on the job but after taking one bite of their chicken, I almost forgot where I was at! LOL! Truly a great venue!
