Walked in with a box of krispey Kreme doughnuts, cashier said loud enough for me to hear her 4 isles away,” M F comes in here and didn’t offer me a doughnut, promptly left and will not shop at any dollar general store again but in this economy that’s the only kind of people they can get I suppose

I understand labor shortages, but why do they post hours until 10pm then have a worker at the door at 9:45 telling people they are closed? Unreliable.

I’ve been coming here off and on for a few years, and the service and shopping experience is usually great. Tonight was a disaster. The store was dirty, shelves not stocked, stock buggy was sitting out on the floor with empty boxes on it —- a hazard, one cashier was at the register and the other two were outside talking, smoking and laughing. The line of customers was all the way down an aisle waiting to be checked out. After about 10 minutes or so, the other two came in smirking about the unhappy customers. One went back out and started smoking again, and the other finally opened up another register. Whoever owns this store will be better off installing self checks and put the young lady in charge who was checking out all the customers by herself. If something doesn’t change, your store will soon shut down. Fair warning…
